On a lighter note
I fly to Chicago in 3 days to go to Lollapalooza.
Thanks to Mr. Taylor McKnight and his sched.org, I have a V.I.P. pass for the weekend. I couldn’t have picked a worse time to travel - I have to create 2 ad campaigns for class, move out of my apartment the day after I get back, and I’m leaving work right before a major sales deadline - but what the hell…I’m going to Lolla...
...sooo bummed.
The bottom half of my beloved iPhone’s touch screen broke. Disaster! I can’t even slide the bar to answer my calls, or check my e-mail, or play music, or surf the web! I can only make calls through the bluetooth in my car. I am terribly depressed :(
The only thing that puts my mind at ease is the optimistic notion that I will get a new 3G for free. We’ll find out on Wednesday...
What is it with me and carbon monoxide?
After having a lovely dinner at Taylor’s mom’s house earlier this week, we had quite the carbon monoxide scare. While lounging in the living room following dinner, the CO detector began to alarm. Since I just installed CO detectors in our house in Colorado and did a lot of research on it, I knew we had to get out of the apartment.
